PROGRAM INFO
ALLEGHENY MOUNTAIN REGION XI
2024 Sound Files:
TIA-11 contest participants are requested to send your music in MP3 format to the email address below prior the competitions so that it can be uploaded to a computer and ready for use the day of the competition. If your music file is not in MP3 format there are several free file type converters online or you can just send the format you have, and our region sound services will take care of it.
Please note that after you send your initial music file you will not have to resend it each week as it will be kept on file for use weekly, however if you decide to edit your music you will need to resend it to our region sound services. If you must resend, please submit it by Thursday evening before the competition.
If re-sending an edited version of your music, please keep the same file name except for changing the date (See file name format below). By including the new date helps us to file and keep track of the latest version.
If you do have a last-minute edit to your music file and are unable to send it via email, please bring your latest copy on either a flash drive or a CD to the sound table as soon as you arrive the morning of the competition and for it to be taken care of on-site.
IMPORTANT: All music will be played directly from the computer software, however, please always have a CD copy of your latest music on hand the day of the competition in case we have technical issues with the computer. We will always have a standard CD player connected to the system and ready to go in case there are any PC issues. We have had technical issues in the past and have had to use the back-up CDs. There is no need to bring the back-up CD to the sound table on competition day but please make sure you have a copy of it readily available incase needed.
Please name your music files using the following format:
Unit Name - Class - Date.mp3 [IE: Bedford HS – SRG - 01-31-24]
Include in email Subject Line: Unit Name & Class [IE: Bedford HS-SRG]
Please email music files to: [email protected]
After TIA-11 Sound Services has received your music file you will always get a reply back confirming receipt of the file. If you do not get a reply then please either resend or contact [email protected] to verify it has been received.
